How can I get data service?
There are two options:
  1. Circuit data service: normal dial up method where you can dial an ISP through your phone. Remember you do not need a modem to dial as your phone itself acts as a modem. The data rate is slow at around 14 kbps. This service is available to all users.

  2. Packet data service: With a special subscription to PDSN service, you can get a peak data rate of 153.6 Kbps.
What is EVDO?
EVDO has much higher data rate of 2.4 Mbps and needs a special subscription. At present this service is available in the following areas and its vicinity only:
Thamel, Sundhara, Jawalakhel, Banepa and Mahendra Pool of Pokhara.

Where does the phone get the power?
The phone runs on battery power and needs to be charged periodically. The phone is provided with a charger for this purpose. The phone can be used for all normal operations even with the charger connected.

How to use the supplementary services?
Hook on the phone receiver and listen the dial tone then press the related service code as given in Supplementary service description.

How to use the fax service?
To use the G3 fax service, subscriber is required to have a fax supporting (WF820F) terminal. This terminal provides one port to connect the fax machine and other to connect the normal telephone set. Only either of the services (fax and voice) is possible at a time.

To send a document by fax:
Pick up the fax hand set and listen dial tone then dial *00 and dial the number you want to send the fax on fax machine and follow the instruction of the fax machine.

To receive fax:
Dial **#005*, this enables the machine for the receiving of fax.

For detail operation, go through the manual provided with the WF820F terminal.
