Introduction
PSTN Directorate was established as per the directives from the Nepal Telecom's higher management on 2066 Mangsir 29 at Pulchowk. PSTN Directorate has been established with an objective to built up future network with good co-ordination between various concerned departments for timely delivery of quality fixed line services (such as voice, data and video services) to the nationwide customers.At present, the following four departments are under this directorate:
- Access Network Planning Department (ANPD), Chhaunni
- Switching Project Implementation Department (SPID), Kunpondole
- Network Project Implementation Department (NPID), Kunpondole
- Optical Network Project (ONP), Pulchowk
