Make International Calls using EasyCall Using Int'l Access Code 1424
NT had earlier introduced a new International Access Code 1424 with an attractive Call Charge Scheme of @NRs 8/minute) to USA and Canada for its EasyCall (Prepaid Calling Card) users effective from Ashoj 01, 2064.
Now, on the occasion of ITU day, NT is expanding its International Access Code 1424 to 10 more countries (China, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Thailand, Taiwan, South Korea and Hongkong) for two months effective from 17th May 2008 (Jestha o4, 2065). This means now you can make calls to 12 countries @ NRs 8/minute (Rs. 1/ 7.5 seconds) using EasyCall Prepaid Calling cards. Moreover, effective from ITU Day i.e 17th May 2008, Easycall access will be open from all NT network, i.e. PSTN, prepaid & postpaid GSM/CDMA, Payphones and VSAT
Out of the above mentioned 12 countries, the Scheme for the additional 10 Countries (China, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Thailand, Taiwan, South Korea and Hongkong) is valid only for two months.
Effective from 17th May 2008 (Jestha 04, 2065) EasyCall access will be available through all NT Networks [PSTN, GSM Mobile (Prepaid & Postpaid), CDMA (Prepaid & Postpaid), Payphones and VSAT].
Previously, when making a call, Air Time charges for GSM Mobile was deducted from GSM mobile account and call charges were deducted from EasyCall Prepaid Calling Cards. But effective from 17th May 2008 (Jestha 04, 2065) both call charges and Air Time Charges will be deducted from EasyCall cards while making a call using EasyCall cards from a GSM Mobile and no charges will be deducted from the mobile account.
