Configuring Browser

1. Configuring Microsoft Internet Explorer
  1. Open Microsoft Internet Explorer
  2. Click Tools->Internet Options (Fig. 2.1)

  3. On General tab, put "www.ntc.net.np" on Home Page. (Fig. 2.2)

  4. On Connection tab, select 'Always dial my default connection' and select your dialup account for use.

  5. At the bottom, click on 'LAN Settings' and put proxy server address (proxy.ntc.net.np port 81) as shown in Fig. 2.3

  6. On newer versions of Internet Explorer, you can press Settings on Fig. 2.3 and put proxy server as shown in Fig. 2.4

2. Configuring Netscape Navigator

  1. Click Edit->Preferences. (Fig. 1)

  2. On the preferences window, select Advanced -> Proxies. (Fig. 2) Select option 'Manual Proxy Configuration' and click on View. (Fig. 2)

  3. On the new window that comes, put proxy.ntc.net.np on HTTP and 81 on Port fields. (Fig. 3)
