  1. SMS Email Alert:
    This feature will allow:
    1. Nepal Telecom Mobile users who also hold Nepal Telecom email account and
    2. Nepal Telecom Internet users who also hold Nepal Telecom Mobile

    to receive SMS Email Alert informing new arrival of an email through SMS generated by Web SMS System. The feature has been successfully tested for Nepal Telecom Mobile (Post-paid and Pre-paid) and Nepal Telecom Email Users. Right now these features have been facilitated for Post paid mobiles only.

  2. SMS Group:
    S-group is similar to email groups like yahoo group. This feature will allow an web SMS to create SMS group of their own which will be called S-group, maintain the group and send SMS to all the Nepal Telecom mobile numbers included in the group in just a click by giving just a group identity. The customer itself shall create the groups and maintain the administration of sending SMS or reshuffling the members.

  3. Special Group Service:
    This feature is somewhere similar to SMS group but will be administrated by the Administrator. A company or an organization shall list out the number of Nepal Telecom mobile users numbers to whom a certain SMS (notice/information) and for certain days which has to be sent.

  4. SMS for Mobile Users:
    This feature allows provision for valid Nepal Telecom mobile to send Web SMS registering online using PUK security code. PUK security code will be loaded to the system Offline periodically. This feature is already in operation for sending Web SMS for Nepal Telecom Internet Users. These type of Web SMS is limited for per day by the Administrator.

  5. Access to Nepal Telecom Web SMS page from Outside the Country:
    This feature shall facilitate Nepal Telecom Mobile (Post-paid) Customers and Internet Account holders to send Web SMS from local server to Nepal Telecom Mobile Users, when they are outside the country. These type of Web SMS limited for per day by the Administrator.

  6. Advertisement in SMS:
    1. When SMS are sent through Web SMS, some kind of advertisement messages can be concatenated at the end of the SMS message restricting users to allow less than 160 characters per message. This feature shall enable display of the product along with the message that being received by SMS receiver which is sent via Web SMS System. The advertisement can be send at some specific time period too.

    2. In today’s context since Web SMS has not gained popularity yet, the alternate way for SMS advertisement would be ending SMS by the Administrator as requested by a company or an organization.

      The Administrator can send bulk SMS in different combination as below:
      1. to ALL Nepal Telecom Mobile Customers
      2. to only Nepal Telecom Post-paid Customer
      3. to only Nepal Telecom Pre-paid Customers
      4. Specific Region wise
